陽春，意取漠水之陽，四季如春。是祖國大陸最南端的喀斯特地貌地帶，位于廣東省西南部，漠陽江中上游。全市總面積4054.7平方公里，是廣東省面積第二大的縣（市），總人口109.25萬，轄15個鎮和一個街道辦事處，市政府駐地春城。
陽春是珠三角與粵西的交通中樞，交通方便。貫穿境內105公里的三茂鐵路通達汕頭、深圳、廣西、云南、重慶；已開通的羅陽鐵路、陽陽鐵路、省道S113線一級公路和沿海高速公路、開陽高速公路、陽茂高速公路及相鄰的325國道構成了縱橫交錯的交通網絡，從陽春到廣州、珠海2個小時，到深圳、香港3個小時，陽春已融入珠三角經濟發展2小時經濟圈。
陽春資源豐富。全市森林覆蓋率59.2%，有650多種野生植物、100多種野生動物，其中有茶木鵑、豬血木等多種國家一級保護動植物。有近40種礦產，300多萬千瓦水力發電蘊藏量，現已開發超過18萬千瓦。
陽春旅游資源得天獨厚，文化古跡眾多，這里風光綺麗，奇峰幽洞，綠水秀山，素有“廣東小桂林”之稱。春灣凌霄風景區是省級旅游度假區，先后有30多部中外影視片在此拍攝外景，已成為國內特別是港臺影視拍攝重要基地。百涌、鵝凰嶂省級自然保護區內古木參天、珍稀動植物眾多，是正在開發的旅游勝境。陽春以獨有的風景、奇秀的山水、深厚的文化底蘊、純樸的民風被世人稱為“美麗的陽春，多情的土地”。
陽春是國家地質公園、中國馬水桔之鄉、中國孔雀石之鄉、中國春砂仁之鄉、全國體育先進縣、廣東省民族民間藝術（根雕雅石）之鄉、廣東省衛生城市、廣東省雙擁模范市。陽春市委、市政府帶領全市百萬人民正在全力打造一個文明富裕、風景優美的旅游城市。
A Survery of Yangchun City
Yangchun City is situated in the southwest of Guangfong Province,the middle-upper reaches of Moyang River,the mid section of San-Mao railway. Its total area is 4054.7 square meters with a population of 1.047 million.It exercises jurisdiction over 16 towns with the municipal government in the town of Chuncheng.
Yangchun City has transport facilities, San-Mao railway runs southwards through the entire city, Luo-Yang railway, Yang-Yang railway,Yanhai and Kaiyang express have been oprn to traffic,leading to the cities of Guangchou, Shenzhen, Shantou, Kowloon, Hongkong, Maoming, Zhanjiang, Nanning, Kunming, Chongqing, Guiyang. Yangchun City will be the hub of railway traffic in Guangdong and the Grand Southwest,also the main external port.It takes 2 hours to go to Zhuhai,Guangzhou,3 hours to Shenzhen,Hong Kong From Yangchun.Yangchun City enjoys exceptional advantages in tour attraction.It has picturesque natural scenery. Strange ridges and tranquil caves spread all over, the hot spring and water fall are unique and wondrous, making up the Four Scenic Spots of Lingxiao,Chunwan,Chuncheng,Bajia,among which the three caves:Lingxiao Crag,Longgong Crag,Kongtong Crag are well known both in China and abroad,attraction nearly one million tourists every year. The scenic spot Chunwan-Lingxiao Crag has been rated as province-level vacationing resort by the Gunagdong Provincial Government, and has become an important filming base for Hong Kong,Taiwan film & TV studio.
